Another thing you can do is wait. As time goes by the cost will go lower and lower and you can buy it used on ebay. Look for used bf2142 showing up a lot on ebay.com around december and a lot of used ones in january and picking up again in feb.

What happens is folks get it as Christmas gifts and then they put it in their Tandy brand Radio shack computer and it won’t run lol. So they sell it cheap on ebay
